ABOUT JERSEY
Located just a few miles from the Normandy coast of France, Jersey has the status of a British Crown Dependency and is wholly English-Speaking. Our unique relationship with the United Kingdom has enabled the island to become one of the world’s major international finance centres and this is reflected in the bustling and cosmopolitan main town of St. Helier.
Away from the high-powered world of finance, Jersey has a long history as a tourist resort. Wherever you are in the island, you are never more than 15 minutes from the beach, and over 45 miles of stunning coastline is just waiting to take your breath away. Jersey is rightly proud of its history of hospitality; award-winning cuisine and business-class accommodation will ensure that your stay is pleasant as well as productive.
The Island offers:
- excellent executive accommodation with a choice of award-winning hotels and friendly host families
- a chance to network with fellow professionals
- stunning coastal scenery and enchanting beaches and bays
- a host of adventurous sports and activities.
In addition to your language course, we will be happy to arrange any of the following activities: abseiling, aerial trekking, archery, cycling tours, clay pigeon shooting, coasteering, kayaking, surfing, windsurfing, diving, golf, sailing, orienteering, bird-watching, hiking...whatever floats your boat!
GETTING HERE
Jersey is easy to reach from any major city in Europe. Flight schedules can change but, currently, you can fly direct from Paris, Geneva and Zurich almost every day. Jersey also has regular flights from London Gatwick, Heathrow, and Luton. Boats also sail every day from St. Malo (on the Brittany coast of France). Connections are inexpensive and, once you get to Jersey, your transport to your accommodation and to and from classes each day is included in the price of the course.
