This is an intensive course designed to progress your Business English skills in a short space of time, using group activities carried out in the target language, in realistic business situations.
We start every day with an informal business breakfast where you will be able to discuss topical stories in the business media with your tutor and fellow language learners. You will be introduced to a range of business-specific vocabulary, as well being helped to understand when and where to use jargon and buzzwords. Led by our qualified tutors, you will be helped to gauge the appropriate degree of formality in both spoken and written language and be given some useful grammatical constructs to help you to sound more fluent and natural. The course also aims to help you develop the language necessary to win new clients, as well as for delivering good and bad news to existing ones!
Other language skills include: chairing and participating in meetings; challenging and dissenting; presenting information to small or large groups; letters, phone calls and emails. The course also includes an evening of drinks and dinner in the pub – the best way to relax after a hard week's work! Every learner undergoes a full assessment at the end of the course and receives a record of their progress, the course also aims to help you develop the language necessary to win new clients.
